We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. This data is stored indefinitely.

Website Forms

If you fill in any form on our website your data will be kept securely using Gravity Forms. Your information will be removed annually from our system.

Free Wi-Fi Policy

When you use The BIG Sheep Guest Wi-Fi we may collect data about:

  • your device;
  • the volume of data which you use;
  • the websites and applications which you access; and
  • your usage by access time, frequency and location.

Email Newsletter (e-newsletter) Subscription Policy

As part of the registration process for our monthly e-newsletter, we collect some personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

We use a third-party provider, Constant Contact, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. Online Ticket Sales and Online Memberships

When you purchase a ticket (or tickets) or membership through our online booking system, your name, address data, email and contact number will be stored in our system, Digitickets. You may, of course, purchase a ticket (or tickets) in person without supplying the aforementioned personal data. Please be assured that we do not share your personal details with any other company without your consent. Annual Memberships

Our Annual Memberships are recorded in our till system, Merac. Here we record essential personal information to allow us to process and store your membership and ongoing relationship with The BIG Sheep. If you have opted in to receive marketing emails your data will be transferred to Constant Contact and you can read our policy in regards to our e-newsletters above. Your information will be stored indefinitely to help us provide a better service should you return to us. Visitor Guides, Surveys and Application Forms

We have a number of ways we request your data in paper format throughout your visit, whether that’s on our information guide, on a visitor survey, or an application form. Event and Group Booking Sales

When you arrange an event or a group booking with The BIG Sheep your information is added to our diary system within our Merac till system. Your information is securely stored within Merac and will never be shared with any other provider. The information we store is for the sole use of the event or booking you have arranged with us. It will be stored indefinitely to help us provide a better service should you return to us. Accounts and Suppliers

The information we have on file is purely for general communication purposes and to maintain our trading relationship. Big Sheep Ltd will never pass on or sell your information without your permission.

  • Company Address
  • Contact Names and Telephone
  • Various Supplied Email Addresses
  • VAT Number / Bank account Details
  • Account Activity / Invoice Activity

We use the data relating to your business to facilitate trading with you and your company and for general correspondence with your staff on a regular basis.
