1pm – Laura Lexx and Gareth Richards

Laura Lexx is a critically acclaimed comedian and writer, winner of the Comedians’ Choice Award 2018 and nominated for the Amused Moose Comedy Award for her most recent solo show. Described as a “bouncy, bubbly stand up star… whose warm approachability puts you in mind of Sarah Millican and whose smiliness recalls the ever beaming Victoria Wood.” (The Telegraph) she appeared on the 2018 Christmas Live at the Apollo special to a fantastic reception.
Laura is a regular host on the BBC Radio 4Extra show The Comedy Club and is one of the most sought after live acts on the UK comedy circuit. Described as “one of the most delightful performers you’re ever likely to see” (GQ) Laura Lexx is unmissable – electric improvisation mixed with “real comedic steel” (The Guardian) she is well on her way to being a household name.

Gareth co-hosted Frank Skinner’s Sony award-winning Absolute Radio show for two years and supported Frank on his 2014 tour.
