This fun day out will involve creative workshops using recycled driftwood and willow to 'Digging into History', a mini archaeological dif for budding young historians.
Complete the National Trusts Birds and Beast quiz, and make a mini -beast hotel for your garden. Plus North Devon's 'Mrs Recycle' opens a can of worms showing just how brilliant worms are at recycling. |

Smile Day for National Smile Month - Thursday 7th June 2012
Raising funds for The Smile Train Charity
In conjunction with Torrington Dental Practise
Children who bring along their old tooth brush can exchange it for a brand new one with Torrington Dental Practice’s friendly Colin the Croc.
The Practice’s friendly dental team will also be on hand sharing some very simple messages with the children in a fun and engaging way to help them take good care of their teeth. |

We're looking for teams of 4 to take part in a series of barn-yard games - all ages welcome.

Meet Thomas the Tank Engine and The Fat Controller - Sunday 1st July 2012
Thomas the Tank Engine and The Fat Controller are making their debut visit to The BIG Sheep in Bideford on Sunday 1 st July. They will both be saying goodbye to the other engines, Edward, Henry, Percy and Gordon and travelling from the magical island of Sodor to see their North Devon fans.

Help for Heroes Day - Sunday 8th July 2012
Show everyone who your favourite hero is and come dressed as a nurse, soldier, policeman, fire officer, paramedic etc. and entry will be free of charge when you are accompanied by a full paying adult or child. This is a charity event for the Help for Heroes Charity. |

Meet Peppa Pig - Bank Holiday Monday 27th August 2012
Children who adore the antics of Peppa Pig jumping up and down in muddy puddles, laughing and making loud snorting noises will be able laugh and jump along with their favourite pig on two occasions in 2012 at The BIG Sheep in Bideford.
