Free range turkeys, organic meats, sprouts on stalks, cheeses, cakes, puddings, biscuits, fudge, chocolate, bread, fish and Christmas trees are just some of the delights which will be on offer at the South West’s BIGGEST indoor Farmers’ Markets. The markets, which are sponsored by the North Devon Journal, will be held at the BIG Sheep in Bideford on Saturdays 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd December 2012.

So why not forget the hustle and bustle of high street shopping and enjoy the social buzz of a fantastic traditional country farmer’s market and stock up on some last minute Christmas presents in the BIG Sheep’s Sheepy Shop which is an Alladin’s Cave full of unique and quirky gifts. The children can enjoy the BIG Sheep’s winter wonderland with outdoor skating rink and new toboggan ride while you shop in peace.

Visitors to the popular annual Farmers’ markets at the BIG Sheep can enjoy a festive feast under one roof and avoid the stress of trolly-bashing, and long queues and taste and buy some delicious local fare from a great range of high quality local produce.

The BIG Sheep’s Farmers’ Markets on Saturdays 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd December will be a much more a social occasion with enticing smells wafting through the indoor market to tantalize your taste buds and shoppers can sample before buying, catch up with friends and most importantly support local producers while stocking up on fresh locally produce, cutting down on air miles.

Visitors will be able to taste the difference of our fresh local poultry, game, fish, pork, beef and gammon and stock up on all the trimmings to create a perfect Christmas feast for friends and family. Wreaths and Christmas trees are also available to create the perfect Christmas ambience.
