Pony Rides at The BIG Sheep

The BIG Sheep have a beautiful selection of ponies for visitors to have a ride on.

Maybe you are thinking of taking your child to riding lessons but you are not sure how they would react when sitting on a pony. This is a great opportunity to test the water on our very calm and safe ponies. You will be led around the horse whispering arena by our qualified equestrian staff members.

We provide the best quality of care to our ponies. During busy periods of the season we may need to limit the number of pony rides per day to ensure that our ponies health and well being is not compromised.

Please note that the weather can affect the opening times of the pony rides. For example the pony rides can be cancelled during thunderstorms. This is for the safety of our ponies, staff and visitors.

Horse Whispering

Our equestrian staff will be more than happy to answer any of your equine related questions. Our daily horse whispering show will also give you insight on how we train our ponies.
